Behavior Technician

Mentor South Bay , provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Behavioral Health and Mental Health Outpatient services across Massachusetts and Connecticut. Responsible for implementing behavior-analytic services for assigned pediatric clients in our new center-based ABA program!

? Consult with team members to implement individualized services for assigned clients

? Conduct visits with clients and relevant collaterals in natural environments according to the needs of the child and family

? Maintain client records completely and accurately to include: Documentation of forms and regulations regarding intake and discharge of clients

? Complete billing documentation according to schedule established by the clinic

? Adhere to professional standards and guidelines according to respective disciplines and relevant certification

? Maintain daily contact with program during normal business hours

? Keep supervisor informed of progress of all clients

? Meet performance expectations based on part time or full time status, as designated

? Adhere to provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all occurrences immediately to the program director

? Adhere to clinical recommendations from clinical administration

? Maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters

? Participate in team meetings, supervision and in-service training as required

? Participate in program development and team goals

? Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree required

• Required experience in related field

• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly

• A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
