Maintenance Technician

Equipment Maintenance TechnicianMaintains and repairs equipment, facility, and premises by performing the duties listed below.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Diagnose and perform basic repairs on production equipment.General knowledge of mechanical equipment and functions. Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic actuator experience a plus.Ability to learn and/or read and understand electrical prints and wiring diagrams.Performs preventative maintenance on equipment along with filling out proper documentation.Able to make in-process adjustments to equipment used in production.Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.Adhere to food safety objectives and work to uphold Cadillac Coffee's food safety and quality systems.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical skills: Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Location: FT. WAYNE, INHours of operation: MON - THURS 5:00AM to 3:00PM Potential for required overtime Fridays during peak seasons.Pay dependent on experience.
