About the Position

Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality critical care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will care for patients with complex medical conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, myocardial infarction, DKA, atrial fibrillation with RVR, pulmonary embolism, and other critical illnesses. Responsibilities include administering and titrating vasoactive and sedative drips, monitoring critically ill patients, interpreting telemetry, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and providing exceptional patient-centered care.

• Floating: Required to float to PCU and Med-Surg as needed (training provided)

• Patient Ratio: 1:2 (occasionally 1:3)

Requirements

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current BLS , ACLS , and NIHSS certifications
• PALS and TNCC preferred
• Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, and critical care drips
• Experience titrating vasoactive and sedation infusions (e.g., Levophed, Neosynephrine, Cardene, Precedex, Propofol)
• Ability to interpret and verify telemetry strips
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Willingness to float to PCU and Med-Surg as required
• Driver's License required at the time of submission
• Must reside outside the 50-mile radius requirement
• Artificial nails are not permitted while providing patient care
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
