Non-Profit - Accounting Manager - Fort Worth

Job Summary We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our non profit organization in Fort Worth TX The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities including budgeting financial reporting and compliance Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field Certified Public Accountant CPA designation preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Knowledge of non profit accounting principles and regulations Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel Strong analytical and problem solving skills Responsibilities Manage day to day accounting operations including accounts receivable accounts payable and payroll Prepare and review financial statements reports and budgets Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management Supervise and mentor accounting staff Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals If you are a detail oriented accounting professional with a passion for non profit work #J-18808-Ljbffr Now CFO
