About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) to lead the strategic design and execution of its enterprise privacy program. The CPO will be responsible for establishing and maintaining privacy governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This executive will also be tasked with ensuring that privacy risk considerations are integrated into business processes, technology solutions, and customer experiences. A key aspect of the role is to partner with various business leaders to promote responsible data practices and strengthen privacy and AI-related risk oversight across the enterprise. Candidates for the CPO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in privacy, legal, compliance, risk management, data protection, cybersecurity governance, or related disciplines. A deep understanding of privacy and data protection regulations, particularly those impacting financial services, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience within a highly-regulated financial services organization and a background in technology tools and applications, including AI governance. Executive leadership skills, the ability to influence enterprise strategy, and a proven track record of working with regulators and executive teams are also required. Professional certifications in relevant areas are preferred, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is a plus.
