Key Position Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef with preparing high quality food products, establishing industry standards for restaurant specialties, and monitoring inventory. Assist with the supervision of daily preparations for meal periods. Ensure that Five Star, Five Diamond standards are followed. Assist with menu development. Strive to move the business and its cuisine forward to be competitive with its market niche. Follow safety and sanitation procedures. Work with a vibrant, active team focused on superior guest experience. Be available and support other outlet chefs in their operation, offering help when needed. Qualifications An associate degree from a culinary institute or have completed an equivalent apprenticeship program. Thorough knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques. Fine dining experience preferred.
