Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wright, WY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeFri 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM Sat 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM Sun 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility operations location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Prepare clear reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
