Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL B Truck Driver role based in Sarasota, FL. The CDL B Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver decking, dock, seawall, and related building materials to job sites, marinas, and customer locations. Daily tasks include loading and securing materials, verifying delivery documents, following assigned routes, and unloading products using appropriate equipment while maintaining safety standards. The driver will inspect vehicles before and after trips, report maintenance needs, and comply with all DOT and company regulations. This role also supports warehouse operations as needed, including assisting with inventory, organizing materials, and providing courteous, professional service to customers and team members.
Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Experience operating flatbed or box trucks and safely loading, securing, and unloading building materials.
• Ability to read delivery tickets, follow route directions, and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Basic material-handling skills, including use of forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment (certification or willingness to obtain preferred).
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials, work in outdoor conditions, and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Strong attention to safety, reliability, time management, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in construction supply, lumber, or building materials delivery is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; bilingual communication skills are a plus.
