Job Description

We believe that everything starts with our people, and we empower each Motorolan to do their best work in the moments that matter. As a Channel Sales Associate, you will serve as a primary contact for key accounts within your regional territory, connecting customers with our safety and security ecosystem. In this role, you will lead discovery, qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, and demonstrate our suite of physical security technologies. You will work closely with territory sales leadership to drive regional efficiency, manage opportunities under $50k, and ensure customers realize the full value of their investment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

• Build positive, trusted relationships with existing end users across your assigned territory to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

• Conduct proactive outreach to ensure end users realize maximum value from their investment in the Motorola Solutions ecosystem

• Partner with Channel Sales Executives and field sales teams to identify growth opportunities and help to achieve regional quota

Lead Qualification & Demonstration

• Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email to guide potential clients through the sales cycle

• Conduct thorough discovery calls to analyze customer operational needs and ask targeted questions

• Book and lead comprehensive web demonstrations highlighting our full suite of physical security solutions

Pipeline Management & Operational Execution

• Manage and drive sales opportunities under $50k through the complete channel sales process

• Utilize Salesforce to diligently oversee leads, track customer interaction tasks, and analyze opportunity pipeline metrics

• Participate in local industry events, conferences, and marketing roadshows with required travel (up to 50%)

Job Requirements

Technical Expertise

• Salesforce proficiency to manage pipelines, log activities, and track opportunity metrics

• Virtual Presentation Tools to effectively lead engaging web demonstrations and discovery interactions

• Technology Aptitude with the ability to quickly learn complex physical security software and hardware platforms

• English Language proficiency to communicate effectively across video, email, and live customer channels

Professional Experience

• Discovery Best Practices to uncover business needs and align client requirements with ecosystem solutions

• Pipeline Administration to manage multiple sales priorities efficiently and maintain deal momentum

• Objection Handling to address customer concerns with confidence, resilience, and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with sales engagement methodologies in physical security or enterprise software environments

• Experience managing channel partner dynamics or SMB sales cycles under $50k

Target Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
