The Role

We're hiring a Medical Assistant who can communicate with crystal clarity and keep the clinic humming. This is not a sit-back role. Our providers move quickly through a full schedule of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and we need an MA who anticipates the next step, keeps patients informed and at ease, and never lets a room go cold. Clear communication and genuine hustle aren't bonus traits here — they're the job.

What You'll Do

• Room patients efficiently — capture history, medications, allergies, and chief complaint accurately in the EMR, and tee up the provider for a smooth visit
• Assist with procedures — set up sterile trays and support biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, injections, Mohs surgery, and cosmetic treatments
• Handle specimens with precision — label, log, and route pathology specimens with zero margin for error
• Educate patients clearly — deliver pre- and post-procedure instructions in plain language and confirm understanding before they leave
• Keep rooms turning — clean, stock, sterilize instruments (autoclave), and reset rooms so the schedule never stalls
• Close the loop — manage callbacks, refills, prior authorizations, and patient messages promptly and accurately
• Communicate up and across — flag delays, relay provider needs, and keep front desk and clinical teams in sync in real time

What You Bring

• Stellar communication — clear, warm, and confident with patients, providers, and teammates alike
• Real hustle — you move with urgency, stay organized under pressure, and finish what you start
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) — or willingness to obtain
• BLS/CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Comfort with electronic medical records and a quick-learning mindset
• A team-first attitude and high personal standards

Bonus Points

• Dermatology, Mohs surgery, or cosmetic experience
• Experience with a dermatology EMR (e.g., ModMed/EMA)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Front-to-back clinic flexibility — you can flex where the day needs you

Schedule & Logistics

• Full-time: 36 hours over 4 days — enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week
• Clinic days typically wrap by 5:00 PM — home for dinner, every night
• No nights, no weekends, no on-call
• Primarily based at one location (Chandler or Queen Creek) with occasional coverage at the other
