About the Job You are a natural leader who makes sure that everyone—your team and even your superior—completes their tasks. As an Assistant Manager you will oversee daily store operations, ensuring quality service and a great customer experience. Job Responsibilities Oversee all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Maintain store cleanliness, enforce policies and procedures, and set a high standard of conduct for the crew. Handle staffing, paperwork, scheduling, and overall team performance. Ensure adherence to store standards, marketing initiatives, and profitability goals. Operate all equipment and manage daily inventory, including receiving and processing telephone orders. Prepare product, clean equipment, and maintain the facility on a daily basis. Drive deliveries within the designated area, including distribution of flyers and door hangers. Essential Functions and Skills Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly. Provide correct monetary change and process orders by phone and in person. Navigate using a map and locate addresses within the delivery zone. Operate a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders. Demonstrate motor coordination and visual acuity required for swift, accurate movements. Handle various physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, and walking up to five flights of stairs. Requirements and Qualifications Management experience preferred. Open availability, reliable vehicle, and a safe driving record. Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle for delivery work. Physical Requirements Standing most of the shift; walking on various surfaces. Walking short distances for short durations; traveling between store and vehicle. Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table. Lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying items up to 15 pounds. Pushing or pulling trays using dollies, sometimes requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force. Climbing stairs or ladders, occasionally navigating up to five flights. Stooping, bending, and squatting as needed for assembly and cleaning tasks. Reaching above 72 inches for operational tasks. Driving within a designated delivery area. Using tools such as calculators, phones, peppercorns, pizza cutter, and peel.
