Assembly Technician

Job Summary: The Assembly Technician will apply various technologies to test and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment. Core Skills and Abilities: Hand & Power Tool Proficiency
- Experienced in using basic shop tools, including wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, drills, and related equipment.
- Comfortable operating power tools safely and accurately.
- Reads and interprets step-by-step instructions, technical drawings, and diagrams.
- Completes assemblies in the correct sequence with precision and efficiency.
- Naturally understands how mechanical systems function and how components fit together.
- Quickly identifies and resolves assembly challenges.
- Notices missing parts, misaligned components, or improper fasteners.
- Consistently double-checks work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to complete assigned tasks independently.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to assist and improve workflow.
- Initial role is primarily shop-based.
- Opportunities for on-site assembly or support travel may arise after training.
- Candidates should be open to occasional travel as part of career growth.
- Motivated to learn new skills and continuously improve.
- Open to feedback and willing to adapt processes for better outcomes.
- Interested in advancing within the company by taking on additional responsibilities.
- Comfortable starting in the shop and progressively learning other processes and roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, or mechanical roles.
- Strong familiarity with power tools and safe handling practices.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day.
- Capable of lifting components weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a shop or warehouse environment.
- Able to communicate professionally and courteously with customers as needed.
- Committed to completing tasks correctly the first time.
- Adheres to safety guidelines, tool usage rules, and shop standards.
- Interested in learning additional skills such as leak testing, CAD, and project management.
