This is a dynamic and highly visible environment.Primary responsibilities: Coordinate with engineering teams, project administrators, and regulators (may include international regulators/validation authorities) to successfully certify projects for commercial aircraft production teamsReview certification plans, write letters to regulators, and understand compliance processLeading cross-functional teams resulting in resolution of technical issues.Coordinate technical messaging and partnering with the FAA on regulatory issuesOwn, manage, and have/develop technical aptitude to enable execution of process/procedure documents (BPM, BPIs, D6s, D950s, etc.)Ensure proper coordination across products, platforms and functional areas to promote culture of compliance to requirements and application of procedures and FAA guidanceDevelop strategic action plans for changes to certification processes and execute those plans through completionContribute to root cause corrective action plans for development and execution of noncompliance’s, voluntary disclosures, informal corrective actions, formal corrective actions, etc. including reviewing/researching processes, design practices, analysis, conducting root cause analysis, and identifying/owning corrective actions and corrective action plansBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementExperience leading a cross-functional teamAble and willing to take ownership of work activities to ensure they are completed accurately and efficientlyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):Experience in presenting data to customers, suppliers, and program and site leaders.Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting dataFamiliarity with FAA documentsExperience working with Boeing ODA E-UM and I-UM resourcesExperience implementing processes and standards compliant with airplane certification standards and/or FAA certification standardsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
