HVAC Project Manager

We are seeking an HVAC Project Manager to join a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial mechanical construction. This is not a traditional construction management role. The ideal candidate will be involved in project management, estimating, client relationship management, design-build coordination, and business development. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys both the technical and business side of mechanical construction. What You'll Be Doing Manage commercial and industrial mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout Develop and maintain long-term client relationships Participate in estimating, budgeting, and proposal development Coordinate design-build projects with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams Manage project schedules, costs, procurement, and project execution Assist with business development efforts and help identify opportunities with existing clients Lead project meetings and maintain communication with all project stakeholders Support project forecasting, change order management, and financial performance Collaborate closely with company leadership on project strategy and customer satisfaction Project Types Commercial HVAC Systems Industrial Mechanical Systems Chilled Water Systems Hydronic Systems Steam Systems Plumbing & Process Piping Systems Design-Build Mechanical Projects Typical Project Size $500,000 - $5,000,000 What We're Looking For Experience working for a mechanical contractor HVAC, plumbing, piping, or mechanical construction background Project Management experience within commercial or industrial construction Estimating and preconstruction experience Client-facing experience and relationship management skills Design-build project experience preferred Strong communication and leadership abilities Understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Experience helping secure work, develop accounts, or support business development efforts is highly desirable $90,000 - $130,000 base salary depending on experience Strong backlog of commercial and industrial work Opportunity to work directly with company leadership Client-facing role with significant impact on project and company success This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to do more than simply manage projects.
