You will analyze business and operational performance to identify opportunities for optimization, support service delivery for active accounts, and communicate technical and operational impacts as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by relationship-building, commercial conversations, data-driven decision-making, and helping partners grow in a dynamic market.In this role, you will:Build strong relationships with partner account teams, including key buyers and decision-makersVisit partners in-person in Vegas, as well as travel to partners in Reno and Atlantic City (monthly/quarterly depending on business need)Assist in creating opportunities such as progress meetings and exploratory discussions to help grow partner accountsUnderstand and communicate partner business issues through the appropriate internal channelsRecommend products, services, and insights that meet partner needsDevelop a strong understanding of how the department operates and how it fits into the larger organizationBuild awareness of the policies, practices, trends, and competitor information that impact the organization and its partnersDevelop a strong understanding of the financial impact of decisions and solutions on the organization and its partnersDocument components of business cases for change at the direction of more senior colleagues, as neededBuild and maintain a working knowledge of financial data and the company’s standard contract terms and conditions by reading product literature, contracts, and learning from peersLearn when to partner with legal resources to modify or adjust standard contract termsLearn the contract negotiation process and how to complete contractual arrangementsExchange nuanced information to build consensus and move work forwardHandle key objections effectively and proactively seek help from a manager when needed to address differences and ensure agreements among all partiesConduct straightforward cost, benefit, and risk analyses of possible solutions and the implications of not reaching agreementIdentify and actively engage stakeholders in decision-making and strategies that benefit both the account and the organizationClose deals effectively while supporting broader account and portfolio goalsDevelop understanding of standard offerings and major areas of expertiseBuild a working knowledge of products, technologies, and offerings within scope of responsibilityDevelop an understanding of competitors’ standard products and servicesDemonstrate thoughtful application of products, technologies, and offerings to partner accountsBuild and maintain ongoing business relationships with colleagues and external partnersStrategically build relationships to support total portfolio and broader organization needsDevelop understanding of the partner’s industry and competitive marketAttend partner meetings to understand needs and expectationsLearn the metrics used to assess the performance of products, services, and solutions against partner needs and expectationsDevelop key value proposition statements, case studies, and proof points to demonstrate the value of the company’s products, services, and solutionsExperience and qualifications:You have 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 0–2 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degreeYou have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experienceYou are proficient in English and, where applicable, the local language of the marketYou are an effective communicator who can build trust and influence through clear, confident conversationsYou have proficiency in sales techniques and a consultative approach to partner conversationsYou bring skills in portfolio management, relationship management, upselling, and cross-sellingYou are comfortable using business and operational performance insights to identify opportunities and recommend solutionsYou are interested in developing your commercial, contractual, and market expertise in a fast-paced environmentWhat will help you succeed:You enjoy building strong partner relationships and helping accounts grow over timeYou combine commercial thinking with a consultative, partner-focused approachYou are comfortable balancing multiple priorities while staying responsive to partner needsYou use data, market context, and business judgment to inform recommendations and decisionsYou know how to collaborate across teams and engage the right stakeholders to move work forwardYou are motivated by helping partners unlock more value from Expedia Group’s marketplaceThe total cash range (inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target) for this position in Las Vegas is $90,000.00 to $126,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $144,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Incentive plan performance above target will also earn more than the incentive target compensation amount.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
