Registered Nurse (RN)Join our team as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient care in an inpatient department setting.Position DetailsShift: Night (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as neededFloating: Required to float between various facilitiesResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population with multiple co-morbidities, specializing in stroke and neuro patients.Monitor patients utilizing telemetry and remote monitoring systems.Administer medications and treatments in line with established protocols.Manage feeding tubes, access ports, and perform blood product administration.Oversee central line and peripheral line care, including PICC line management and IV starts.Implement isolation precautions and conduct wound care, including the management of wound vacs.Ensure proper patient ratios, maintaining a standard of 1:5-6 nurse to patient.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.Telemetry experience, with a preference for on-unit monitoring.Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale certification required.Strong understanding of CVA and use of nasal cannula in patient care.Experience in patient ratio management and delivering care to high-acuity populations.We welcome first-time travelers, providing a supportive environment for newcomers to the field.
