Full Stack Engineer, Helly Hansen IT The role of Full Stack Engineer reports to the Sr. Director, eCommerce Technology Delivery. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise on the design and construction of new and existing modules and using appropriate development tools and data flows across the full stack. Key Responsibilities Leverage full‑stack technologies (UI, API, middleware, micro‑services, ETL, etc.) for comprehensive web application development. Develop and implement user‑friendly interfaces using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js and React. Build robust and scalable back‑end services using suitable programming languages and frameworks. Create reusable front‑end components and libraries for future use. Partner closely with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and quality engineers to deliver great user experiences. Design extensible web applications following best practices of accessibility, visualization, and usability. Deliver digital products in an agile team environment, driving innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development. Iterate on front‑end features based on customer feedback and perform unit testing and code reviews. Optimize website performance and ensure cross‑browser compatibility. Document code and APIs clearly and concisely. Stay up‑to‑date with the latest development trends and technologies. Organization & Location Reports to: Sr. Director, eCommerce Technology Delivery Location: Denver, CO – Hybrid: three days onsite. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related discipline. Strong CS fundamentals, including system design, data structures, and algorithms. 5+ years of production JavaScript/TypeScript application design, development, and testing. 5+ years of web application development, preferably Node.js framework with RESTful APIs and database technology (MySQL or other). Proficient in modern front‑end frameworks such as Node.js or React. Pragmatic approach to delivering modular and extensible code. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Experience working with a global engineering team. Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and continuous delivery practices. Experience in unit, performance, and automation testing. Flexible working hours to accommodate a global team.
