Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week contract at a critical access hospital near Winner, South Dakota. The role involves performing routine and moderate-complexity laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood banking to support timely patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and moderately complex laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood banking.
• Accurately analyze and report lab results to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Collect, label, and process biological specimens following established protocols.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Certification as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Must meet CLIA requirements for moderate-complexity testing.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical laboratory experience.
• Current BLS certification.
