Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand each client's specific needs, backgrounds, and mental health challenges.

  • Design personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches, adjusting them as necessary based on client progress and feedback.

  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to address issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

  • Lead group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can share experiences, practice new skills, and foster community amongst peers.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coaches, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for each client.

  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training related to the latest mental health trends and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with a diverse population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health issues ranging from mood disorders to trauma-related symptoms.   • Must possess an active and unrestricted license to practice as a Mental Health Counselor in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT).

  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience providing therapeutic services to individuals facing mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time Mental Health Counselor position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
