Bradley Professional is currently looking for experienced and skilled Pipe Welders for a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY in Greensboro, NC!
Are you a skilled Pipe Welder looking for a rewarding career opportunity? We have a direct hire position available in Greensboro with a competitive pay range based on experience. This role offers the chance to work both in the field and in the shop, with occasional travel and non-local jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pipe welding in the field and shop settings
- Travel up to 25% of the time and work on non-local projects for 3-week periods
- Weld to qualified procedures using SMAW (STICK) and GTAW (TIG) methods
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Conduct a 6G ASME test on 2-inch pipe before starting work
- Utilize hand tools, lifts, and rigging equipment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in PIPE welding
- Proficiency in SMAW (STICK) and GTAW (TIG) welding methods
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Comfortable working with hand tools and lifting equipment
- Physical stamina to work long days, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work in varying temperature environments
