Join our team and start making a difference! Grossmont Post Acute is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our awesome in-house therapy team. This position has the flexibility of being strictly inpatient or split between treating our inpatient and outpatient clients with the option to switch over to all outpatient in the future. Full Time : Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedule Pay : $47 - $52 /hour based on experience and willingness to work weekends Key Responsibilities Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards. Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements. The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs. Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders. Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements. Qualifications Occupational Therapist license is required.
