Provides a combination of technical and business leadership while being the primary trusted and capable owner of one or more high priority, high visibility, complex focused initiatives that typically cross multiple technology and business line areas. Will typically have a small number of direct reports (e.g., an architect, systems analyst, etc.) and provide guidance to a larger community including affected systems, program management, and test leadership.Responsibilities include:ProvideseniortechnicalleadershipandstrategicdirectionforEnterpriseStorageArchitecture,SANInfrastructure,NASPlatforms,andDataProtectionTechnologiessupportingcriticalbusinessoperations.Defineandmaintainenterprisearchitecturestandards,engineeringroadmaps,andtechnologystrategiesforstorage,dataprotection,andinfrastructureresiliencyplatforms.Leadthedesign,implementation,andoptimizationoflarge-scaleDellPowerMax,NetApp,andassociatedenterprisestorageenvironments.ProvidearchitecturalleadershipforBrocadeandCiscoSANFabricinfrastructure,ensuringscalability,performance,availability,andoperationalstability.Serveasthehighest-leveltechnicalescalationpointforcomplexstorage,SAN,replication,backup,recovery,andinfrastructureissues.Drivestorageplatformlifecyclemanagement,modernizationinitiatives,hardwarerefreshprograms,andstrategicmigrationeffortsacrossenterpriseenvironments.Partnerwithinfrastructure,security,operations,cloud,andapplicationteamstoensurerecoveryreadiness,businesscontinuity,cyberresiliency,anddisasterrecoveryobjectivesareachieved.Establishengineeringstandards,operationalbestpractices,andgovernanceprocessestoensurelong-termviability,reliability,andsupportabilityofstorageanddataprotectionplatforms.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, engineering, computer science, mathematics, any science, or equivalent work experience- Eight or more years of experience in delivering software-based solutionsPreferred Skills/ExperienceExpertknowledgeofEnterpriseStorageArchitecture,includingdesign,implementation,andsupportoflarge-scalemission-criticalstorageenvironments.AdvancedexperiencewithDellPowerMaxenterprisestorageplatforms,includingperformanceoptimization,replication,provisioning,andlifecyclemanagement.Expertise inEverPurestoragetechnologieswithinlarge-scaleenterpriseenvironmentsDeepexpertiseinBrocadeSANFabrics,CiscoSANInfrastructure,FibreChannelnetworking,zoning,fabricdesign,troubleshooting,andcapacityplanning.StrongexperiencewithNetAppStoragePlatforms,includingNASarchitecture,storageadministration,datamanagement,andoperationalsupport.Hands-onexpertisewithDataProtectionTechnologies,includingCohesity,DataDomain,backup,recovery,replication,anddisasterrecoverysolutions.ExperiencesupportingandengineeringECS(ElasticCloudStorage).Strongunderstandingofoperationalresiliency,businesscontinuity,recoveryreadiness,cyberrecovery,disasterrecoveryplanning,andinfrastructureriskmanagement.Provenabilitytoprovidetechnicalleadershipforenterprisemodernizationinitiatives,platformmigrations,engineeringgovernance,andlong-terminfrastructurestrategy.Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
