Job TitleJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform energized and de-energized line work on transmission and distribution systemsInstall and maintain poles, crossarms, transformers, insulators, and conductorsLead complex work tasks, including switching, phasing, and troubleshooting outagesPerform rubber glove and/or hot stick work as qualifiedInterpret blueprints, specifications, and utility standardsDirect and guide lower-level crew members on job tasksConduct job briefings and enforce safe work practicesInspect completed work for quality and complianceEnsure proper use and maintenance of PPE, tools, and equipmentMaintain accurate documentation and comply with DOT/FMCSA vehicle and safety requirementsRequirementsJourneyman Lineman certification or equivalent verifiable experienceExtensive experience in overhead and/or underground distribution systemsCDL Class A requiredProficiency in energized work methods (rubber glove, hot stick, etc.)Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsIn-depth knowledge of OSHA, NESC, and DOT/FMCSA regulationsWorking ConditionsWork is performed outside in all types of weather environments.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for long periods of time.Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers.Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
