You will work as an individual contributor with significant architectural ownership, collaborating closely with engineering peers and product stakeholders. Hybrid (3 days onsite) in the New York City area.Here's how you'll make an impact on the team:Build the layer that connects AI agents and developer frameworks: proxies, SDKs, and agent toolingOwn the policy backend, including connectors, ingest of rule sources and restricted lists, and the engine that tracks rule changesBuild controls that determine what each agent is allowed to doDesign and operate systems to meet low latency and high reliability under enterprise loadMaintain a high bar for security and data protection when handling sensitive contentHere's what you'll need to be successful in this role:5+ years building and running production backends at scaleStrong experience in a modern backend language (Go, Python, Java, or Node)Solid knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, databases, queues, and cachingExperience with cloud environments, containers, and CI/CDFocus on latency, reliability, and writing clean codeHere's what else might help you out:Experience with low-latency or real-time systemsExperience building SDKs, proxies, or developer-facing infrastructureExperience working with sensitive or regulated dataPay range: $160,000 - $180,000/yearReady to make your mark?This role may fill quickly.
