Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job DescriptionThis is a Technical Sales Manager position focused on developing and managing water treatment equipment and service contracts across the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan territory.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development: Prospect and develop customer accounts in heavy industrial sectorsAccount Management: Manage existing customer relationships and drive year-over-year growthFull Sales Cycle Management: Handle prospecting through contract negotiation and closeSolution Development: Work with multi-disciplinary teams to create customer-focused water treatment solutionsStrategic Planning: Create growth plans and forecast sales performanceCross-functional Collaboration: Partner with services teams and other Veolia commercial teams.QualificationsCritical RequirementsMust Have:5+ years in sales/relationship management with heavy industrial water/wastewater treatment customersTechnical knowledge of water treatment technologies (RO, IX, EDI, UF, MBR, filtration, etc.)Understanding of heavy industry applications (power, chemicals, steel, paper, refining, food, beverage, manufacturing)Salesforce and Google Workspace proficiencyStrong presentation and negotiation skillsComfortable with ~35% domestic travel (primarily within OH, KY, IN, MI)Valid driver's license with clean driving record.Strongly Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fieldExperience with Strategic Selling methodology (Miller Heiman)Residence within the sales territory.Additional InformationAt Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
