The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. You'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs while contributing to a high-quality service experience for our valued customers.Job Type & ScheduleJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday to Friday (with some Saturday work)Work Requirements:Ability to Commute: Morganton, NC (Required)Work Location: In personResponsibilities:Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work according to dealership and manufacturer standardsDiagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipmentCommunicate with service advisors and customers regarding repairs needed and time estimatesComplete warranty work in accordance with manufacturer guidelinesConduct test drives to ensure repairs were successfulMaintain accurate records of work performedKeep work area clean, safe, and organizedCollaborate with fellow technicians and service team membersQualifications:2+ years of automotive technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification preferredFord certification a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilityFamiliarity with electronic diagnostic equipment and toolsProficiency in Reynolds and ReynoldsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust supply own toolsWhy Join Cloninger Ford of Morganton?At Cloninger Ford, we believe in growing our people as much as we do our business.
