Senior Manager, Human Resources

Provide generalist HR support for specific business areas, including site staff Develop and administer policies Manage employee relations, conduct, performance issues, disciplinary actions, harassment and misconduct investigations Advise on coaching, counseling, and problem-resolution techniques Support recruiting, interview candidates as needed, and approve offers Administer benefits, troubleshoot benefits issues, and manage vendor relationships Manage regulatory compliance and reporting, including headcount, affirmative action, EEO-1, VETS-100, benefits enrollment, and organizational structure Partner with management on organizational design and changes Conduct employee orientation and support employee development and training Support employee safety, welfare, and wellness education Maintain and troubleshoot HRIS and provide user training Serve as liaison between payroll and HR Manage compensation, promotions, merit increases, incentive programs, and market data reviews Oversee HR staff paperwork and day-to-day benefit and general paperwork issues Support employee engagement initiatives Participate in workers' compensation and open claims reviews and monitor disability claims May supervise an HR administrator and/or HR generalists Requirements Bachelor's degree required 7+ years of experience in a related field Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization Excellent active listening and presentation skills Knowledge of benefits, recruitment, compensation, and general labor laws Ability to manage multiple projects on a large and small scale that require differing levels of input from the organization Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English to perform the essential functions of the position Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship either now or in the future Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in HR generalist functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.
