Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of buildings, grounds, and related equipment. Oversees daily operations of building, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management, to maintain reliability and performance. Monitors work orders to ensure quality service, compliance with established standards, and adherence to budget requirements. Provides training and guidance to supervisors and staff on maintenance best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Craft appropriate policies where neededPossess a thorough understanding of local/regional/domestic regulations and company policyLead initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our associatesEstablish high quality relationships with both site and regional leadershipMeasure site's performance against published requirements in EHS policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix all identified deficiencies.Must be able to work flexible shifts which could include day, nights, and weekendsCoordinate the efficient operation of all facilities necessary to manage the distribution and usage of all utilities & reduce costsManage facility contracts and work with internal and external stakeholders for right sizing existing facilities and/or consolidation or expansion of existing facilitiesRequirements (KSAs)Health, Safety & Environmental experience preferredBachelor's degree in related field preferredWorking knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, PSM, and RMP regulationsKnowledge of Safety programsKnowledge of environmental laws impacting the transportation and logistics industry intermediate required
