Associate Financial Representative

Role Description The Associate Financial Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Pittsford, NY with Evans Financial. This individual will play an important role in delivering a high-quality client experience while gaining exposure to all areas of the business. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing client financial information, assisting with financial planning analysis, preparing client proposals, and supporting insurance, retirement, and investment operations. The role will also involve coordinating client meetings, managing follow-ups, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and responding to client inquiries. In addition, the Associate will contribute to marketing, outreach, and other initiatives designed to support the continued growth of the practice. This position is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in financial services and become a key part of a growing team. As the practice continues to grow, the Associate will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, as well as gain LAH and securities licenses, and potentially designations like the CFP. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, is preferred. Interest in financial planning, investments, insurance, and wealth management. Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. Strong work ethic, ambition, initiative, and willingness to learn. Coachable mindset and ability to take direction, apply feedback, and continuously improve. Comfortable working in a regulated environment and willing to pursue relevant licenses, including life insurance and investment securities licenses. Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience. Compensation Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
