CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10, Varied Shifts. Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40

Job Description: The CT Scan Technologist under the supervision of the CT Supervisor is responsible for producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting the radiologist in diagnostic CT procedures, and ensuring quality patient care while embodying the vision and mission of the health system.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT procedures of the human body according to established guidelines.
• Assist in the coordination of daily workflow for ER, in-patients, and outpatients.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and maintain current CPR certification.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
• Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Stay current with changes in the field of CT and manage appropriate care prioritizations.
• Operate a variety of sophisticated CT imaging equipment and imaging storage systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum two years of clinical experience in the respective department required.
• Experience in trauma and travel experience is required.
• Licensure: American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and CT, along with a State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• Required Certifications: AHA BLS within 60 days upon hire.
