Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Acute Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a full-time travel assignment in Penn Yan, NY. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families in a dynamic environment. The Med/Surg RN will develop specialized skills in cardiac care, including telemetry monitoring, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Key Responsibilities of the Acute Med/Surg RN

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed
• Advocate for and protect the health, safety, and rights of patients
• Educate patients and families for self-care post-discharge
• Promote teamwork and foster positive relationships within the care team
• Comply with infection prevention strategies and maintain necessary competencies

Requirements of the Acute Med/Surg RN

• New York State RN Licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Med/Surg environment
