Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical status and identify areas needing improvement.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific goals, objectives, and needs of each patient.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities in the treatment plan, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress.
• Provide detailed patient and family education regarding rehabilitation strategies, exercises, and home care practices.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure continued effectiveness and alignment with recovery goals.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with organizational policies, ensuring proper billing and adherence to best practices.
• Utilize a comprehensive approach to care, considering age-specific needs and integrating feedback from family members and interdisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrate safety and proficiency in using rehabilitative equipment and conduct patience in their use and maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients facing a range of conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. We provide care across various ages, ensuring that you are equipped to address the specific developmental and physical needs of every patient. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida (temporary permit acceptable), alongside a valid BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and home health settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
