Job Summary
Pediatric Floor Nurse - Portland, OR. This position involves providing dedicated nursing care to pediatric patients in a short-term acute care setting. The role requires flexibility in floating between units and adherence to pediatric-specific protocols, including PALS certification. The shift is primarily daytime hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience, Pediatric Floor specialty, Oregon licensure or pending licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and an active Oregon license or pending license
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience in a hospital setting, prior experience with the Epic charting system, and pediatric patient care in a short-term acute care environment
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units based on skill set and hospital needs
• Additional Information: Candidates must have reliable transportation for the assignment. Previous pediatric post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) experience and pediatric certification are required. Candidates will participate in a 30-hour orientation and may be required to work holidays as scheduled. References covering 1 year are required, with at least 2 references. Candidates will not reach out to facility contacts directly unless arranged through the assigned account manager.
