Mingle + Graze in Downtown Chandler, AZ is looking for 1 sandwich artist + prep cook to join our strong team. We are located on 48 S San Marcos Pl. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. Pay is hourly wage + tips which will average to $17 to $20/hour with tips. All employees pool and share tips which are distributed biweekly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the business
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Accurately execute recipes given
• Design and execute menu items like sandwiches, soups, grilled cheeses, and catering items
• Washing Dishes, Sweeping, Mopping, Trash/Compost/Recycling
• Daily Tasks given by management
• Adhering to health department food safety guidelines for dates, proper cooling and heating temps and serving food
• Team work with cheese board designers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, preferred Culinary School degree, Bachelor’s or equivalent 
• A food handler's license.
• Proven experience working in a fast-food restaurant, deli, or similar environment.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time, sometimes 7+hours of standing.
• The ability to work effectively under stress.
• Strong work ethic: on time, positive attitude
• Team Work oriented
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• The ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and ownership. Mingle + Graze strives to exceed an open door communication policy.
