Remote Dosimetrist

Remote Dosimetrist needed for a high-volume radiation therapy department. Schedule is Monday through Friday with either a 07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00 shift. A minimum of three years of experience is required. Experience with dosimetry and QA systems including: Electron Beam Therapy, Film dosimetry (radiochromic/Gafchromic), IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Ion Chambers, MOSFET/OSLD systems, PID dosimetry, Radioactive Isotopes, Secondary MU calculation software, TG-51, Thermoluminescent. Familiarity with treatment planning systems such as Eclipse (Varian), Pinnacle (Philips), and XiO. Focus is essential. Experience in techniques such as 4D CT Simulation, image fusion/registration (CT/MRI/PET), and custom shields is required. Ability to calculate radiation doses and design treatment plans is necessary. Skills in dose-volume histogram (DVH) analysis, field shaping, and respiratory gating for breast therapy are important. Experience with SBRT (Stereotactic Body Clienttion Therapy), SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery), and VMAT (volumetric modulated arc therapy) is desirable. Comprehensive knowledge of ARIA and DICOM-RT is necessary. Familiarity with medical imaging and PACS systems is a plus. Candidates must possess strong image registration and contouring skills. This position does not require travel experience, and first-time travelers are welcomed.
