Senior Accountant

Growing manufacturing and distribution company is adding a Senior Accountant to their growing team. This is an in-office role by Sky Harbor airport with a base salary of $85 -$100K Responsibilities Participate in the monthly closing process. Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements. Maintains the general ledger. Processes month-end, year-end, and major projects accurately and within timelines. Ensures that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation. Maintain accurate and complete financial records and participate in audits or reconciliations, as needed. Assists other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could financially impact the business. Prepares and files monthly/quarterly sales tax returns for multiple states. Assists with other projects and reporting as required and/or requested. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must have Distribution, Wholesale, or Manufacturing experience. Minimum experience of 5 years plus. Experience with Audits and ERP systems. Excellent leadership and communication skills, highly efficient and accurate. Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
