(PPM) is seeking candidates for a full-time Environmental Field Technician position based in our Orlando, Florida office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in environmental services, field operations, and hands-on technical work supporting remediation and environmental compliance projects throughout Florida.The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced field environment.Position ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Collect air, water, soil, and sediment samplesGather field data necessary for evaluating environmental conditions and mediaPerform routine operation, maintenance, and monitoring of remediation systemsTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to remediation equipmentOversee subcontractors during remediation and field activitiesConduct environmental inspections within commercial and retail facilitiesAssist with regulatory compliance and environmental reporting requirementsAccurately document field activities, observations, and data collection resultsSafely operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles while following company safety procedures Job Requirements Required QualificationsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsGood communication and record-keeping abilitiesAbility to work independently and within a team environmentBasic knowledge of environmental science and environmental regulationsBasic knowledge of soil, groundwater, and air sampling techniquesBasic understanding of environmental remediation systemsAbility to lift and carry equipment weighing 50 pounds or moreValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordWillingness to travel to project sites throughout FloridaPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in environmental sampling, monitoring, or remediationPrior experience as an Environmental TechnicianCurrent 40-Hour HAZWOPER CertificationPI9e88a9800881-25403-40493373
