Psychiatrist Nurse- RN
Job Title: Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Direct Hire / Contract-to-Hire
Salary: $100.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health to lead unit operations in a hospital-based psych setting in Brooklyn, NY . This role is responsible for overseeing daily unit operations, supporting clinical staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring admissions and discharges, driving performance improvement, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Requirements: Please make sure you have this before applying
- Active RN license in New York State
- Masters of Nursing
- Experience at the New York Justice Department Center
- BSN required , Master’s preferred
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience
- Minimum 5 years of clinical psychiatry experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- Must have experience managing a psych unit in a hospital
- Current BLS, ACLS, and Crisis Management certification
