Bakery Clerk

Part Time Baker/Fryer PositionCub Lakeville West off Kenwood Trail is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a Part Time Baker/Fryer position! Bakery Fryers provide frying, icing, wrapping, stocking and customer service support for the department. They are required for meeting the daily sales and to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.Job Responsibilities:Prepare and wrap bakery productStock, rotate and face bakery productPerform clean up of departmentAssist with department merchandising as directedAssist with customer questions or requestsJob Requirements:Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of timeThe position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.Must be 18 years of age and older.Physical Requirements:Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.Walking on uneven groundReaching, bending, turning, repetitive motionsExtended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfacesSchedule:Evening and weekends availability required.Benefits:Flexible schedule for work life balanceEmployee discountWeekly pay on a progressive union scaleUnion benefits for eligible associates including Paid Time OffMy Cub.
