Controls Engineer

Payrate: $47.00- $48.00/hr.


Position's Contributions to Work Group:

• End-to-end engine controls experience: As a member of the Large Engine Controls team, you will contribute across the full lifecycle of engine control systems from researching new algorithms to supporting long-standing products already in the field.
• Technical impact: You will apply feedback controls knowledge for dynamic systems to design, calibrate, and validate advanced controllers that push engine performance limits.
• Hands-on exposure: Located in the engine labs, you will have access to real engine hardware, providing valuable hands-on experience.

Typical task breakdown:

• Control systems calibration in simulation and on engine
• Analyze and present engine data

Education & Experience Required:

• Years of experience: 2 years. Graduate degree in relevant field counts as experience.
• Degree requirement: BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $47.00 - $48.00 /hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
