Interventional Radiology Tech

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Interventional Radiology Tech at St. Vincent, you will help patients and medical teams perform intricate radiological procedures so they can diagnose and treat medical conditions with precision. Every day, you will be responsible for operating radiological equipment and assisting during interventional procedures. You will be expected to ensure patient comfort and safety while delivering high-quality images and data to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. To be successful in this role, you must have extensive knowledge of radiological equipment and techniques, along with excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical professionals effectively. Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself. Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures Job Requirements Required Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, upon hire and Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and Medical Radiographer: AR, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire Preferred One year experience as a licensed X-Ray Technician Where You'll Work CHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health.
