Registered Nurse - Med-Surg

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Med-Surg experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting and possess an active nursing license. This role requires proficiency in telemetry and various advanced nursing procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings
• Perform IV insertions and management of central lines
• Conduct wound care and manage drains as necessary
• Participate in bedside shift report and hourly safety rounding

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Active RN license in the state of NH
• BLS certification required
• IV certification mandatory
