About the Position

Job Title: RN Critical Care Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Neuro ICU experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in a Neurosurgical ICU - Willingness to float to other ICUs/Step downs - Ability to manage 2-3:1 patient assignments Description: This position is in a 19 bed Neurosurgical ICU. We care for acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, and post-surgical patients requiring invasive intracranial pressure monitoring. Frequent neurological assessments and hemodynamic monitoring are essential components of patient care. Routine CT, MRI, and Angiography are also performed in this unit. This is a straight Weekend Block position (Friday, Saturday, Sunday night).
