Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure consistent patient safety. Position Specifics: · Department: Intensive Care Unit . Core Function: Nursing support · Schedule: Part-time, 18 hrs/wk,; Night shift (7pm-7am); and every third weekend · Facility: St. Vincent Hospital · Location: Green Bay, WIEducationHigh School Diploma or GED-RequiredExperience1 year Telemetry experience-Preferred2 years' experience in the medical field-PreferredCertifications Licenses and RegistrationsBasic Life Support (BLS)-RequiredCertification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association-PreferredSuccessfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire-RequiredCertification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training required in WI.Certification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training preferred in IL.Scheduled Weekly Hours:18Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
