Pharmacy Technician - Order Fulfillment

Job Summary The fill technician assists the pharmacist in the preparation, packaging, and fulfillment of compounded medication orders, maintaining the compounded preparation and supply inventory, and maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures. Job Activities and Responsibilities Maintain a knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures Packing and fulfilling patient‑specific compounded prescription orders Pre‑packaging of compounded preparations for dispensing Maintain device and compounding supply inventory Assist in managing and reporting stock of compounded preparations Communicate with staff, patients, and/or providers regarding shortages/backorders, delays, and/or non‑clinical clarifications Assist with additional pharmacy tasks as directed by pharmacy management Minimum qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must be licensed by the State you are applying to work in as a Registered Pharmacy Technician Ability to navigate basic computer operating systems Physical Requirements Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds. Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes.
