About This Role
The Employee Connect is sourcing CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Walmart fleet based out of the Baltimore, MD area. This is a no-touch freight account with live load-unload and drop and hook runs averaging 1,900 miles per week. Drivers deliver to Walmart locations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast — no NYC or borough deliveries.
Route Details
- Average 1,900 miles per week
- No-touch freight — live load-unload and drop and hook
- Delivery states: PA, DE, NY, NJ, WV, VA, NC, and Washington DC
- No deliveries into New York City or the boroughs
- Drivers must have their own transportation to commute — trucks park at the distribution center
Schedule
- Home weekly with 34-hour reset
- Possible 2-3 days home per week depending on runs
Compensation
- Average annual pay: $79,560
- CPM plus stop pay
Equipment
- Late-model sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
- 53-foot dry van and reefer trailers
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months verifiable CDL-A experience
- Clean MVR and driving record
- Must live within 75 miles of Baltimore, MD
- Own transportation required to reach distribution center
