FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Overview FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions available (full-time and part-time). Location: Lamar County School District, 424 Martin Luther King Drive, Purvis, MS 39475. Requirements Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required. Compensation & Perks Fixed pay rate: $12.00 per hour. Paid lunch meals Insurance is offered Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available Responsibilities Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service and dining areas. Performs prep work for fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures ingredients. Carries and transports food and supplies safely between stations. Stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and safety procedures. Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements; uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control. Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and handles customer inquiries and complaints professionally. Performs sales transactions and processes payments; registers transactions and issues receipts. Manages cash drawer and change funds in accordance with company policy. Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies; maintains service area cleanliness. Performs other duties as assigned.
