Bariatric Surgical Physician Assistant

Care New England is seeking a full time Bariatric surgical Physician Assistant to join our robust Bariatric surgical team with Kent and Women & Infants Hospitals. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.

Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday daytime work

Job responsibilities include:

• OR first assist in bariatric and general cases
• Inpatient management
• Outpatient clinic

Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP)

Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers

EPIC implemented system wide

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certified by NCCPA.
• Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
• 1+ prior surgical experience required, knowledge of robotic bariatric surgery preferred
