Senior Mainframe Developer
Seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer with 10+ years of experience in mainframe application development, preferably in the Healthcare Claims domain.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain healthcare claims applications.
- Translate business requirements into effective mainframe solutions.
- Support production issues, performance optimization, and code reviews.
- Manage code promotion across Dev, Test, QA, and Production.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to offshore teams.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, project managers, and support teams.
Required skills include:
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ.
- Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication and related business workflows.
- Experience with code migration, release management, package promotion, deployments, validation, and backout procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and production-support skills.
- Experience with SIT, UAT, and Production deployments.
- Strong communication and experience coordinating with business, QA, and offshore teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
