About Us
Sierra Pacific has provided exceptional transportation service to our communities for over 40 years. Based in Northern CA (garage in Pacheco, CA), we service the greater Bay Area, Northern & Southern California, Oregon, Nevada and surrounding states. Safety and compliance are top priorities, and we seek experienced, professional drivers to join our team for a temporary assignment in Los Angeles.
Assignment Overview
- Location: Los Angeles area (temporary assignment)
- Dates: End of May through early July (firm dates provided at interview)
- Employment type: temporary
- Schedule: Days, evenings, nights, overnight; availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays required
- Starting pay: $24/hour plus fixed gratuity
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B driver’s license with passenger and air brake endorsements
- Note: SPAB certification NOT required for this LA assignment
- Clean driving record
- Current Medical Certificate
- Successful background check
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
- Minimum 5 years commercial driving experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; punctuality
- Impeccable personal hygiene and professional driver attire
Experience
- Commercial driving: 5 years (required)
Work Location
- In-person; temporary assignment based in Los Angeles with reporting/administrative hub at Pacheco, CA garage
